Brands organize products by manufacturer or label. A brand is a simple label, and the name is the only required field.

Create

Navigate to Catalog Brands

Click Catalog in the left sidebar, then select Brands.

Click Add Brand

Click the Add Brand button in the top-right toolbar.

Enter brand name

Type the brand Name (1–1000 characters), e.g. “Acme Corp”.

Save

Click Save. The brand appears in the brand list and becomes available in product forms.

Read

Open Catalog → Brands to view all brands. The list shows:
  • Brand Name
  • Product Count: the number of products assigned to this brand
Click any brand to open its detail view.

Update

Select a brand

Click a brand from the list to open its detail page.

Click Edit

Click the Edit button to make the name field editable.

Modify the name

Update the brand name as needed.

Save

Click Save to apply changes.

Delete

Open brand detail

Click the brand from the list.

Click Delete

Click the Delete button in the top-right toolbar.

Confirm deletion

Click Delete in the confirmation dialog.
Deleting a brand removes it from all products assigned to it. The products themselves aren’t deleted; the brand field is just cleared on them. This action cannot be undone.
You need the Delete brand permission to delete brands.
